The Draft Community Safety Plan 2027-2031 outlines the proposed SAFER priorities and actions, that are intended to guide Council’s work to reduce risks of harm, strengthen feelings of safety and improve wellbeing across the municipality.

In 2024, we asked our community what you love about Bennettswood Reserve and what you would like to see improved. We have taken that feedback and used it to develop a Draft Master Plan that sets out a vision for Bennettswood Reserve's future.

What should the future of Britannia Mall look like? In March and April 2026, we asked the community for feedback on a new permanent shelter. Overall, 73% of respondents supported a permanent shelter in the mall. Based on what we heard in round 1, we're now seeking feedback on two design options and on the colour of the shelter/s.

Join permaculture and sustainability educator, Anna The Urban Nanna, for a hands-on presentation-workshop where you’ll learn about frugal, waste-savvy ways to access healthy soil, plants, seeds, fertiliser and mulch. Then have a go at making some upcycled items to use around the garden.

This session presented by Sustainable Gardening Australia will provide you with many tips, tricks and simple solutions to make your garden seem bigger, to overcome constraints and grow a garden that is good for you and the environment.
