The 2025 Social and Wellbeing Community Grant is now open.
This grant provides funding amounts between $10,000 – $40,000 to support initiatives that directly respond to community need, with a focus on the most vulnerable and socially disadvantaged population groups in Whitehorse. The funding supports the delivery of projects or programs in alignment with the Whitehorse Integrated Council Plan 2025-2029.

The Social and Wellbeing Community Grant is open for the 2025/26 year only while the Community Grants Policy is undergoing review.

Whitehorse Community Grants support local recreational, cultural, social and sustainable community programs and initiatives that have a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of the people of Whitehorse. Funding supports a wide range of grant categories including:
