Purpose

The Social and Wellbeing Grant supports eligible community organisations and groups to deliver programs that respond to the needs of socially disadvantaged people and deliver long-term positive outcomes. These outcomes must align with the Whitehorse Integrated Council Plan 2025-2029.

Objectives

• Empower community organisations to respond to local community need
• Enable services and programs that enhance the health, wellbeing and social cohesion of vulnerable groups in the local community to deliver long-term impact
• Provide affordable community programs in response to service gaps and identified community need
• Strengthen relationships between Council, groups and organisations for the benefit of our community.
