If you have already obtained a planning permit for a development site, please check that it includes the vehicle crossing works.

Apply for a planning permit. Council will refer your application to VicRoads for comments.

Once you have received your planning permit, before you start the works, you will need to apply for a Council inspection of the vehicle crossing works (step 4) and pay the required fee. You will need to submit a copy of the approved planning permit with your application. 

The inspection ensures that the proposed works will be completed to a satisfactory standard and are in line with the planning permit. 

Apply to VicRoads for written consent or exemption.
