This Forum will have a strong community focus, with a key feature on the 2026 Whitehorse Community Grants. Participants will hear about available grant types, key dates and how to apply, with time for questions.

The Forum also provides an opportunity to network with other senior community leaders, organisations and Council partners.

Places are limited and registration is required.

We are an accessible, inclusive and connected city where residents can continue to contribute and participate in community life as they grow older.

Our Positive Ageing team:

  • Ensures Council provides services and facilities that are developed with the priorities, interests and needs of older residents in mind
  • Supports community development, enabling our community to connect, learn, volunteer and participate as we get older
  • Supports older residents, and those who support them, to navigate systems that are in place for older people, and to advocate for high quality, responsive and inclusive services.
