Clean Waterways Expo

Everybody lives in a stormwater catchment area, so no matter where you live, work, play, shop, or go to school, keeping our streets clean will help our local waterways all the way down to the bay, and beyond. During this community event, you will learn how we can reduce our reliance on single-use plastics, and prevent pollution and litter from entering our beautiful lake and local waterways through educational talks, guided walks, and children’s activities.

Date: Sunday 29 June 2025 at 12:00pm - 3:00pm

When: Sunday 29 June, 12pm to 3pm
Where: Blackburn Lake Sanctuary, Central Rd Blackburn (opposite Gwenda Avenue)
Cost: Free, no registrations required

Please note: In the event of severe storms or wind, the event will be cancelled. Please check this webpage the day before the event for any updates.
