The Tree Society began in 1959 and is one of the oldest environment groups in Victoria, The society promotes an understanding of indigenous plants and the natural environment to improve canopy tree cover and indigenous plants in Whitehorse. We advocate to Council and State government, we make grants for worthy environmental projects in Whitehorse and support residents and groups with planting projects. We welcome new members.
