Welcome to the Surrey Park Model Boat Club.

The Club has operated continuously at Surrey Park since 1988 and currently has a large active membership. With the generous ongoing assistance and support of the Whitehorse City Council the Club enjoys a well-equipped and secure clubhouse and jetty facilities for members use and enjoyment.

The Club strives to provide a very social atmosphere where ideas, skills and support are offered for all members interested in model boats. Club members come from all walks of life, all ages and occupational backgrounds; we are an inclusive club, and anyone interested in model boats is welcome to join and participate.

Our members build and operate model boats of almost every conceivable type and size from steam powered boats, electric powered paddle boats, tugboats, pleasure craft, speed boats and sailing boats. However, due to the size of our lake and environmental concerns we are not permitted to operate petrol powered models.

The Club meets regularly on Sundays and Wednesdays throughout the year with additional special events and displays scheduled periodically. The Club also produces a multipage newsletter regularly offering news and photos of Club activities and events as well as a schedule of future events and activities. This newsletter, known as "Bilgewater" is emailed to all current members.
